Anthony “Tony” J. Severino Jr., 86, passed away on April 28, 2026 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, N. Y.
Tony was born on December 26, 1939, in Troy, NY to Anthony J. Severino, Sr. and Elizabeth (Fucci) Severino.
Tony was a 1957 graduate of LaSalle Institute in Troy, NY and a graduate of Albany Business College. He proudly served in the United States Air Force.
Tony was a Accounting Director for Sterling Winthrop Labratories and Coramed/Omni Care for over 35 years. Outside of his career Tony enjoyed fishing, golfing and always ready to hit the casinos. Tony was an accomplished bowler who achieved eight 300 games in his lifetime.
One of his greatest pleasures was spending time with his family and he always had a warm smile on his face.
Tony is survived by his brother Peter Severino (Patty), sisters, Anne Marie Lemerise (Robert), and Donna DiNovo (Nick). He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
His family would like to extend a special thank you to the Loudonville Home for Adults for the care and comfort they provided for Tony during his stay.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy-Schenectady Road, Watervliet. Interment with military honors to be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026 at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville. Those wishing to ride in procession to Saratoga National Cemetery are asked to meet at the funeral home no later than 8:15 a.m.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
