Ballston Spa- Annette VanAmburgh, 70, passed away suddenly Friday, July 6, 2018 seaside with her loving family by her side. Annette was the youngest daughter of the late Michael and Anne Aquilanti. For 23 years, she was the loving companion to the late Gerald Mangano.
Annette is survived by her children, Eugene VanAmburgh and Kathleen M. Keating. Grandchildren, Amber, Brandon, Joshua, Jada, Amanda, and Landon; and many loving relatives and friends.
Annette was predeceased by her sister, AnneMarie Matteo; and granddaughter, Jessica VanAmburgh.
Annette was born in Albany, NY on the 13th of June 1948. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her children and grandkids. She enjoyed playing cards and drinking late night coffee with her best friend, Linda, and literally may have cashed the candy crush server more than once. Annette enjoyed camping, Hallmark movies, family BBQ's, casino trip and let's not forget the infamous Barry Manilow.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at St. Paul the Apostle Church, Schenectady at 10am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady.
Feel free to accentuate your outfit with something purple, as it is her favorite color. If not, a purple adornment will be provided for you.
Donations may be made in Annette's memory to the Children's Center of Albany Medical Center.
