Anna M. Orsano

Guilderland Center--- Anna M. Orsano, 85, passed away on September 16, 2017. Anna was the daughter of the late Howard and Evelyn Sowalski and wife of the late Louis Orsano. She retired from NYS Tax & Finance in 1992 as a Clerk. She was the matriarch of the Sowalski Family. Anna was a mother figure to many. She loved to cook, clean, collect, garden and refinish furniture.

She is survived by her two daughters: Jacualyn Tice and Bonnie Hill, both of Guilderland Center; three grandchildren: Terry Wallace, Kim Albee and Macaela Tice-Louma; and three sisters: Helene Webber, Marion Haughton and Beverly Madonia.
Anna was predeceased by her daughter, Ann Marie Tice, sisters, Louise Callaway, Adeline Ridner, Mildred Creamer, brothers, Chester, Arthur, Augustus, and William Sowalski.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY, with a service following at 12 Noon.
