Anna M. Kodra

 Anna M. Kodra, 90, Kingsway Arms Nursing Home, Schenectady, NY, passed away on Sunday January 5, 2025 surrounded by her loving family She was born in Bronx, NY , daughter of the late John and Barbara Gruner.

Anna was a proud homemaker and raised her family in Voorheesville, where she was a member of the Voorheesville Garden Club. She was also an avid gardener, seamstress, quilter and crafter. 

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased 11 years to the day by her loving husband of 57 years, S. Frank Kodra and brother Rudy Gruner formerly of Esperance, NY. 

She was the loving Parent of her children Karen Setia of Denver, CO,  Keith Kodra of East Berne, NY,  Kathleen Kodra of Colonie, NY, Kyle Kodra (Dini) of San Diego, CA. She was also cherished grandparent of  Alison Duggar, Alyssa Setia, David Setia, Adam Kodra, Ashley Harris, Antonet Kodra, Jacob Kodra and seven great grandchildren as well as siblings John Gruner Jr, of Schoharie, NY,  Doris Moser of San Diego, CA, Elizabeth Earle of Orlando, FL,  Sisters-in-law Mary Schultz of Schoharie, NY and  Betty Boreali of Cobleskill NY, cousin Peter Schroeck of NJ and several nieces and nephews. 

A visitation will be held Monday January 20th from 11am -12pm with a service at 12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd Colonie NY. 

Interment immediately following in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
