Anna Zofia (Kubicz) Depta, daughter of Jerzy Eugeniusz Kubicz and Zofia Anna (Witkowska) Kubicz peacefully passed on May 18, 2025 at the age of 73. Anna was born June 1, 1951, in Wrocław Poland. Her father was a park ranger and her mother an accountant. Anna was a citizen of Poland where she resided until immigrating to the United States of America in 1985.
Anna lived her life as a devout believer in religion, spreading the word of God. When she wasn't celebrating her love for God or spending time with her family, she enjoyed gardening and visiting the beach. Anna was known for making it her mission to assist those who frequently went without. She had a soft spot for all animals, particularly cats and birds. Anna's passion for fashion was evident everywhere she went. Her classic look featured a neutral dress, pumps, and pearls. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and those whose lives she touched.
Anna was a daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her twin sister Grazyna, half-sister Alicja, four daughters (Andzelika, Anita, Klaudia, and Jessica), and six grandchildren (Michelle, Hannah, Dianna, Jonathan, Selene, and Ludwig).
Viewing services will occur 5pm-7pm on Friday May 23, 2025, at the New Comer Cremations and Funerals 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie NY.
All who knew and loved Anna are welcome to join the Depta family in celebrating Anna’s life.
