Ann Elizabeth Sutton

November 12, 1928 — January 15, 2017

GUILDERLAND-Ann Sutton died peacefully Saturday January 15, 2017 at The Grand in Guilderland Center, NY. Prior the Grand she resided in her home in Princetown, NY.

She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Ann (aka Peg) Sutton Goldstein, son in law, Adam Goldstein and two grandchildren, Hannah Renee Goldstein (12) and Caleb Sutton Goldstein (8).

She was born in Burlington, Vermont to Erwin Wheat Jenkins and Mary Elizabeth (Parks )Jenkins. As a young adult she moved to Scotia, NY. She attended SUNY Cobleskill where she majored in Early Childhood Education. In 1966 she married Edward James Sutton son of Elizabeth (Tillema) Sutton and Alfred Sutton.

She had many interests, hobbies and avocations. These included an appreciation for good food, gardening, caring for her beloved pets, reading and playing piano.

She was a unique and strong woman whose love and devotion to her family was steadfast and strong.

Services will be held at Newcomer Funerals & Cremations , 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11:00 am. Friends and family are invited to visit with the family from 10-11am on Saturday morning prior to funeral services.
