Ann M. Cook , 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 14, 2017. Ann was the daughter of the late Frank and Mildred Letzelter.
Ann was a long time communicant of the Emmanuel Christian Church in Glenmont, and more recently of the Legacy Church in Delmar, where she was a part of their intercessory prayer group. She will be missed for her witty and sharp sense of humor.
Ann is survived by her siblings: Donald Letzelter, and Joyce Letzelter; sister in law: Shirley Letzelter; nephew: Joseph P. (Dianne) Letzelter, Jr.; nieces; Pamela (Al Madonna) Payette, and Cindy (Mike) Smith; great nephews: Joseph P. Letzelter III M.D. of Washington, Justin Payette, Dalton Payette, Michael Smith, and Nicolas Smith; great nieces: Heather Payette, Brianna Letzelter of Texas, Haley Smith; great great nephew: Austin Payette; and great great nieces: Gabby Marshall, Karma Lynn Peno, and Lexi Sargent.
In addition to her parents, Ann is predeceased by her brother: Joseph Letzelter.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at St. Peter's Nursing Home for their loving care and concern for Ann, and also to Steve and Karen Lalor, Timothy and Barbara Crowe, Mike Buff, Gary Terziani, Jeanne Calsolaro, Elaine Kohut, along with countless others for their kindess and support.
A funeral service will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 10:30 am, with the burial to follow at Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Glenmont.
