Angelo Romano Minarchi, age 88, of Halfmoon, NY, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, February 8,2026.
Angelo was born on April 28, 1937, in Rome, Italy, to the late Guglielmo and Antoinette Minarchi. He later came to the United States and was raised in Little Falls, New York where he grew up and built the foundation of a life rooted in family, hard work and love.
Raised in the close-knit community of Little Falls, Angelo's small-town upbringing became the building blocks of his strong character and lifelong values. After high school, he proudly joined the United States Navy and served his country for two years.
Following in his father's footsteps, Angelo learned the art of masonry and built a successful career in the trade. He worked as a skilled mason and was a dedicated member of the Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Local#2, where he was respected for his craftsmanship and strong work ethic.
In a moment that seemed destined, Angelo met the love of his life, Jennifer Mary lacobucci. They were married on Oct. 10,1970 for 55 wonderful years and were blessed with five children.
Angelo had a deep passion for antiquing and along with Jennifer, was the joyful owner of an antique shop and small business. He also loved sharing his knowledge with others. Always process-oriented, Angelo took great happiness in teaching, explaining and showing people how to do things the right way, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. He also enjoyed discussing and debating history, politics and religion with strong conviction.
Angelo was a deeply faithful man and a proud member of the Grace Baptist Church of Dolgeville, Ny for 40 years. He found comfort and joy in reading his Bible.
Angelo was predeceased by his son Charles J Minarchi.
Survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Jennifer Mary, and his children: Andrew (Jennifer Marie) Minarchi, Lisa (Steven) Lamanna, Jen Minarchi, Gina (Ethan) Youker. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Alyssa, Salvatore, Razario, Gianni, Lorenzo, and Gia, and his great-grandchildren, Piper and Ellody.
Viewing 11-12 followed by 12:00pm Service, will be held Thursday February 19, 2026 at held Ballston Lake Baptist Church 1 Edward Street Ballston Lake, New York 12019. Interment will follow at Gerald B.H Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery 200 Duell Road Schuylerville, NY 12871., where full military honors will be rendered.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be to the National Alzheimer’s Foundation (alzfdn.org) or Grace Baptist Church 12 Van Buren St, Dolgeville, NY 13329.
