Andrew W. Olensky

Schenectady- Andrew W. Olensky, 79, passed away July 3, 2025. Andrew was born February 25, 1946 in Germany to the late Wasyl and Romana Olensky.

Andrew grew up in the South Bronx. As a teenager, Andrew was a talented saxophone player. He is a graduate of Pratt University and spent the majority of his professional career as a photographer and draftsman. In the late 90’s, he and his son Luke had a stint in the professional wrestling business in Schenectady, NY. Andrew enjoyed spending time with his family, good cultural foods, watching movies and being by the water.

Andrew is survived by his Wife Deanna Brassard. Children Luke Olensky, Tara Olensky, Rhia Olensky. 3 Grandchildren and 2 Great-grandchildren. A host of family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Andrew’s name to Community Hospice.
