Allen Decker
September 6, 1935 — January 3, 2016
Guilderland - Allen F. Decker, Sr., 80, passed away Sunday, January 3rd, 2016. Allen was the son of the late Frank and Dorothea Decker. Survived by his devoted wife: Eleanor Decker; they were happy and always together, married nearly 60 years.
Allen spent most of his life as a Crane Operator and was a member of the Local 106 for over 60 years. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially with his great grandson Alex.
Allen will be forever missed by his loving wife; son: Allen Jr. (Nancy); twin grand sons: Christopher, and Brian (Heather) with their son Alex, many sister and brother in laws, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, Colonie, on Thursday, January 7th, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a service at 7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in Allen's name.
