Alfred W. Munn Jr.

Alfred W. Munn Jr., 71, passed away on January 8, 2026 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, New York.

He was born on April 13, 1954 in Schenectady, New York, the son of the late Alfred Munn Sr. and Mildred Munn (Mumblow).

Alfred was employed with General Electric for several years, and later became a bus driver in Schenectady. He enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle.

In addition to his parents, Alfred was predeceased by his sisters, Doris Moak, Mildred Johnson, Faith Munn, and Betty McNulty.

Alfred is survived by his loving wife, Sharron Munn; step-son, Robert Purdy; 4 children; grandchildren; sister, Hope Sweet; and several nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens.
