Alexandros "Al" D. Trigonis

Alexandros "Al" D. Trigonis, 69, of Mechanicville NY, husband to Donna (DeMartino) Trigonis, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, in his home with loving family by his side. Born August 5, 1955, he was the son of the late James and Anna (Williams) Trigonis.

Al went to Mechanicville High School, and went on to receive an Associate Degree in Accounting at Schenectady County Community College. Thereafter he went on to work for NY State in the Department of Tax & Finance where he retired after 30+ years. Al also enjoyed his time working at Earthworld Comics where he made many friends. He also volunteered as a Youth Sports Coach for Football, Basketball, and his favorite was coaching Halfmoon Baseball. He loved comic books, WWE, Milwaukee Brewers, playing chess and cards, and music. As a lifelong football fan, Al never missed a Raiders game.

In addition to his wife Donna of 42 years, he is survived by his sons Kevin (Tessa) and Marcus; three grandchildren Brayden, Cole, and Calla. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Al is predeceased by his parents, and sister Carole and brother in law Richard.

Memorial Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 3:00 pm - 5:30pm with a Memorial Service to begin at 5:30pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie NY 12205.

This service will be available by LiveStreaming, and the link will be active the day of the service.
