COLONIE – Agnes L. Chagnon, 85, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 after a short illness. She was born on January 26, 1927 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Agnes leaves behind her life partner of 57 years, Don Bordwell. She is also survived by sons Wayne (Judy) Chagnon, Sr., Tony (Carol) Chagnon, and Don (Theresa) Brown; daughter Debra Ditoro, and several grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be held on Monday at 9:30 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
