SCOTIA-The Lord welcomed Aaron Thomas Irish, 22, into his loving arms on Thursday, March 26, 2015. A loving son to Raymond and Maureen Irish of Scotia, Aaron was an avid baseball fan and a player who had dreams of pitching in the Major Leagues. As a former Royal Ranger, he enjoyed fishing, swimming, and the outdoors. Aaron loved movies, rock music, video games, working out and cooking; above all he loved time with family. Aaron will be remembered for his huge heart full of kindness and unconditional love, his humor, his secret handshakes, his beautiful smile, his contentment in the small things in life, and his simplicity. He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, John and Joan George of Guilderland, and paternal grandfather, Raymond Irish III. In addition to his parents, he is survived by sister, Kaitlyn Cook (Nick), brother Patrick Irish, and sister Sarah Irish, all of Scotia, and paternal grandmother, Joan Irish. Aaron is also survived by several aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at 10 a.m., at St. Madeline Sophie Church, 3500 Carman Rd., Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, from 5 until 8 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Interment will be at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, 1389 Central Ave., Colonie.
