Aaron J. Dye, aka Tank, aka Brama, aka Bud, aka, Taliban, aka Musa "Moses," passed away on April 12, 2024 in Mount Sinai Hospital, NYC due to complications of a surgical procedure. Aaron was born at St. Peter's Hospital on July 11, 1985 to Kenneth Dye and Doris "Ellison" Belcher.
He was raised in Albany, NY and attended the public school system. Aaron has a beautiful daughter, Neighoj Dye. Aaron enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved to cook meals for friends and family for various occasions. Tank was also a Dallas Cowboys fan.
Aaron has one sister, Shaquasha Watson and one brother, Jerrod Belcher.
Along with his mother and father, Aaron is predeceased by his sister, Latoya Ellison; Grandmother, Maggie Davis and a host of other relatives who loved him dearly.
Through the years, Aaron converted from Christian (Baptist) to Muslim, giving him a new name: Moses or Musa.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, NY on Friday April 26, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 1:15 pm. A celebration of life will follow at 1:15 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Albany, NY.
