ALBANY- Tina M. Sheridan, age 50, passed away suddenly surrounded by family on October 19, 2023.

She was born in Albany, the daughter of John III and Dorothy Brooks of Florida.

Tina was a lifelong teacher with preschool and adolescent students at Wildwood Programs. She loved all kinds of arts and crafts and her dogs Shelby and Ruby. She always had a shoulder to lean on for anyone in need.

Tina was a Kidney Warrior, having received the gift of a kidney 6 years ago.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband of 27 years, Michael J. Sheridan; her beloved dogs: Shelby and Ruby; her brother, David (Deanna) Brooks of Latham; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.

She will be deeply missed by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Thursday October 26, 2023 from 4 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. All are invited to attend her Memorial Service following at 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Tina’s memory may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204 or to the First United Methodist Church, 428 Kenwood Avenue, Delmar, NY 12054.
