In Memory Of
Debbe A. Farry
1958 - 2023

With the deepest sorrow, we are saying goodbye to Debbe Farry (Wood), 65, of Scotia, after a hard fight against pancreatic cancer. Her short battle leaves many family and friends heartbroken and shocked. Her loving and attentive husband, retired Schenectady firefighter, Tim Farry, was able to be with her through her last breath.

She was blessed to have 3 siblings- Donna Herkel, Diane Wood, and David (Tiffany) Wood- who saw her through many adventures.
Her love, influence, and traditions, will be gravely missed by her children- Jennifer (Quintinn) VanAlstyne, Jason (Bridget) Farry, and Joshua (Victoria) Farry- as well as her grandchildren by birth, marriage, or adoption- Leighshawn, Hannah, Adeline, Connor, Sean, Lennon, Evelyn, Lynnea, and Gwyneth.

Many friends from Niskayuna high school class of ‘77. The Schenectady fire department will remember her fondly.
Whether family, friend, or stranger, Debbe was loved by all and never missed a chance to share a smile or laugh. We hope that her legacy will be carried on with every smile shared.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 11am-1pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Schenectady Firefighters Cancer Foundation online at neverfightalone.org/ or by mail, 1242 4th Ave, Schenectady, NY 12303.
