Town of New Scotland- Arthur “AJ” Neander Jr., 35, passed away tragically on July 8, 2023, with his daughter, Emily, his uncle, Dale Donato and his girlfriend, Rebecca Monterosso.
Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Ann and Arthur Neander Sr. AJ was well-loved and a huge part of the community. He was a self-employed farmer and enjoyed the outdoors. Above all, he was a proud father.
He is survived by his son, Anthony Thorne. He will also be missed by his brother, Adam Neander; his sister, Amanda Neander (Justin); and his nieces. He is also survived by his uncle, Joseph; and aunt, Rose Donato.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 17, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. A graveside service will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery.
