In Memory Of
Inasia D. Traynham
1991 - 2023
Nay Nay was a loving daughter, sister, niece & friend, more importantly an auntie, a woman who loved well, and was well-loved.
Nay Nay was the third child of nine. She was raised in love by her grandmother, the late Patricia A. Traynham. Nay Nay loved blasting her music while she cooked and cleaned her apartment. We can hear her now trying to sing along to one of her favorite songs; “Friend of mine” by Kelly Price and Mr. Biggs. She also loved to joke and enjoyed family time. She had a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews and always made sure she shouted everyone out on their birthdays.
Nay Nay was preceded in death by her grandmother Patricia Traynham, great-grandmother Bernice (Charles) Traynham, Aunt Shirley (Lee) Johnson, and cousin Rayquan Murphy.
She is survived by; her mother Teshon L. Traynham (Guy), father Michael Counts “Q”, siblings: Corisha Johnson (Amin), Jahad Graves (Joi), Jalah Traynham (Janelle), Raliekia Polk, Elijah Polk (Cynthia), Chantel Polk (Michael), Itia West, and Isaiah West, nieces and nephews: Tyler, Sky’Lynn, Nima, Pride, Armor, Arielle, Zyla, Elijah Jr (Tristan, Angelique) A’mari, A’mirah, (Jad’Ziah, A’ziaya), Aunts and Uncles: Delores Traynham, Shiwan Parker (Kierra), Jovanda Bowden, Lamar Traynham (Jovell), Dontia Traynham (Ishana), God-Mother Crystal Benson (Eric), Siblings in love: Jamel Ancrum, Ezekiel West, Keeria Johnson, Corey Johnson (Yeleina), special friends, Tomisha Crowley (David), Mona, Bree, and Davon Maye.
Nay Nay will be greatly missed by us all and we will always carry her in our hearts.
