Born on January 7th, 1954, to Shirley Whitehouse, Carol was a wonderful but very independent child who grew to be not only a loving mother, but a strongly liked and very well respected employee of the state where she devoted 18years to her native New York roots.
Carol will be lovingly remembered by her children Jamell, Heather, Kristen, Rachael, Larry, Kendra, Ariana and her honorary bonus daughter Shakima. As well as her grandchildren Alissa, Alanna, Haiti, Nicholas, Novely, Jada, and Adonis.
Those that knew her would say that she was an amazing woman with phenomenal strength, a caring mother, devoted grandmother and a dear friend. She was known for being sharp tongued as well as comical even when she was going through her worst times. Her kids loved her and her grandchildren adored her and she will be missed.
Services for Carol will be held at the New Comer Cremations & Funeral Home on Thursday June 1st starting at 10am for the public viewing with services to follow as well as a small celebration the family will later announce during services.
