Schenectady- Lawrence K. Rockwood , Born June 6, 1925, he was better known as Rocky as was his father and two brothers.

He enjoyed sailing on a boat that he restored, hiking and was an accomplished wood carver and model maker. He was a World War II Navy veteran having served in the Atlantic, Pacific and Asiatic theaters. He was a long time volunteer working on the restoration of the USS Slater.
He was predeceased by a very special and loving wife Patricia L. Rockwood.

He is survived by three wonderful daughters, Dr. Lynne Rockwood (Martin Scully), Leigh Townes (John) and Laurie Teevan, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. After a long and interesting life, Rocky died on May 19, 2023.

There will be no calling hours. A graveside service all be held later this summer at the Albany Rural Cemetery. Family and friends are invited.
