SCHENECTADY- Elisa (DelGallo) Bursor, age 79 of Schenectady, NY, joined our Heavenly Father on May 22, 2023 after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Lisa was born in Schenectady, NY on October 17, 1943 the youngest of 6 children born to Ettore and Concetta DelGallo.

Lisa loved many things including yard sales, gambling at the casino, playing Mahjong, and Pinochle at the Scotia Senior Center. She spent winters in West Palm Beach, Florida for many years. She went to morning Mass everyday that she was able.

She was employed for over 30 years in government services and retired in 1999 from the NYS Department of Law.

Lisa is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert J. Bursor; her two sons: Scott A. Bursor of Miami, FL and Alan M. Bursor of Rotterdam, NY; her five grandkids: Angelo Walsh, Bella Bursor, Julianna Bursor, Layla Bursor and her youngest granddaughter, Vivia Bursor. She also leaves behind her older brother, Robert DelGallo of Albany, NY.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Barbara & Pete McBride, John & Mary Jane Laven, Anne & John Fatato, Chrissy DelGallo and Dianne Dion Jones for their care and compassion during Lisa’s final days.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 1255 Pleasant Street, Schenectady, NY 12303.
