Rensselaer - Jacob W. Waldron (Jake), 36. It is with great sadness that Jake's family announces the unexpected death of their beloved son and brother.
Jake was a 2005 graduate of Rensselaer High School and attended Hudson Valley Community College. In 2006 Jake was commended by the Rensselaer County Legislature for his act of heroism as he saved the life of a fellow citizen and his pet from a house fire without regard for Jake's personal safety.
Jake was predeceased by his father, John "Jake" Waldron.
Survived by his mother Sandra Coote Waldron, his sister Alyssa Waldron and aunts, uncles and cousins. Jake was a gentle and loving soul who will be forever present in our hearts.
