1931 - 2023

Colonie- Shirley A. Crisafulli, 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 20, 2023. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Anna and Joseph Metzger. Shirley is predeceased by her husband Anthony S. Crisafulli Sr.

Shirley enjoyed spending her summers at her home on Lake George and winters at her home in Florida. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Ann Marie Splonskowski (James), Antoinette Chandler (Wayne), June Brennan (Jack), Judith Crisafulli and Anthony “Nino” Crisafulli (Ellen). She was the loving “Gram” to Renee, Danielle, Jim, Tammy, Nina, Salina, Ryan, Dawn, Angelina and Alexandra. She is also survived by her 34 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Shirley is predeceased by her siblings; Joseph Metzger and Claire Fournier.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Hudson Mohawk Humane Society.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the entire staff at Shaker Place, especially Veronica, Tammy, Colleen and Ann. A special thanks is also given to Renee Chandler, Shirley’s granddaughter, who took care of Shirley at home.

Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian burial at Christ our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Drive in Loudonville on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 12pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
