Ballston Spa -
Armstrong, Jon C., 81, of Ballston Spa, New York, passed away on May 17th, 2023, with family by his side.

Jon was born on April 29th, 1942, in Machias, Maine. He was the son of the late Carroll Armstrong and Sylvia (Fitzmorris) Armstrong.

Jon went to Machias High School and then served in the United States Army until 1965. Met his wife Nelda at
a USO dance in Texas. He worked as a traveling salesman for Newco/Duramill for 30 years. His favorite saying was " I can sell ice to an Eskimo. " He was also passionate about Maine sports.

He is survived by his spouse Nelda (Farmer) Armstrong of Garland, Texas; daughters Donna (Lynn-Dec'd) Purdy, Ballston Spa, Ellen (Jeff) Wasson of Rotterdam; his brother Jere (Jane) Armstrong of Maine; grandchildren Danielle, Ashley, John Purdy of Ballston Spa and Aiden Jarvis of Rotterdam.

He was predeceased by his parents and Step - Mother Opal Armstrong of Maine.
