Watervliet NY – Joyce A. Rockenstire (Hansen), 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, February 23, 2023. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late William and Marie Hansen.

She was a very loving person with a huge heart. She founded and owned a daycare center, showed her prized Persian cats, and was a member of a few bird clubs due to her love for African Grey Parrots.

Joyce is survived by her two children Valerie Young (Allen) and Ronald Page (Jennifer), 5 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

Joyce is predeceased by her daughter Lisa Marie.

Memorial contributions may be made to any local animal shelter.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 12pm at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in South Bethlehem, NY.
