Raymond A. "Ray" Hyam Jr.
1953 - 2023

Raymond "Ray" A. Hyam Jr. 69, of Cobleskill NY, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 25, 2023.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years Sandra(Sandy), his sons Raymond III (Amber), Christopher (Tabitha), and Patrick (Pearl) and his grandsons Patrick Jr and Ash.

Ray lived his life full of love and adventures. Anyone who knew Ray well, knew he always had a crazy story to tell. From his trip to Vegas in a private plane, to meeting Sandy at Devine's Pub and falling in love, and the many summers at Sacandaga Lake with family and friends. Ray loved Rock n' Roll, and going to concerts. He was a huge Denver Broncos fan and loved to bowl. Ray was a Dj with his 2 sons and daughter in law for over 20 plus years. Ray loved his 1974 Chevy Monte Carlo, and going to car shows with his family and friends.

More recently, Ray moved to Cobleskill and enjoyed the quiet in his new dream home with Sandy and loved watching his grandson's bowl.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 3rd from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals located at 343 New Karner Road in Colonie NY. The family has asked that in honor of Ray, you please wear your favorite sports team, or band t-shirt to pay your respects. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 5th from 12-4pm at Sportsman's Bowl on Crane Street in Schenectady.

In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to Schenectady City Mission or St. Jude's hospital in memory of Ray.
