Born: January 27, 1932
Joan French, Age 90, our cherished mother, passed away November 18, 2022 at Evergreen Commons Nursing Home in East Greenbush, NY. She was the daughter of Frank Connelly and Beatrice Light.
She is survived by her two sons Richard (Mary) and Danny: her Son-in-Law, Bartholomew Bassett: her siblings Laura Teasdale, Irene Woods, and Joseph Connelly and 6 grandchildren and 12 great grand children.
She is predeceased by her two daughters, Dianne Bassett and Deborah and several siblings.
Joan grew up in Albany, NY and worked as custodial supervisor at Norton Facilities in Green Island, NY. She was a lifelong Mets Baseball Fan and enjoyed bowling, crossword puzzles and crafts making a treefull of clothespin dolls for an entire christmas tree. She loved Christmas being spent with all of her family. She was loved by many and will be missed.
