ALBANY - Todd B. Bloom, 72, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022 at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born on January 14, 1950 in New York City, Todd was the son of the late Leonard M. and Roslyn Wolkowitz Bloom.

Todd grew up in Manhattan, moving to Rochdale Village in Queens as a teenager. He was a lifelong Yankees fan. Todd loved to drive and was a taxi driver in New York for many years. He enjoyed people and getting them to where they needed to go. After moving to Albany, he worked for the American Red Cross. In his last years, when he wasn’t driving, he was enjoying and caring for his favorite pup, Jeter and spending time with friends.

Todd is survived by his daughter Adria Bloom of New York City, his brother Joseph (Susan) Bloom, close cousins Jeffrey Nussbaum and Victor Nussbaum, and many friends who were like family.

He was predeceased by his loving fiancée Elizabeth Criscone-Wells.

A memorial service for Todd will be held on Sunday evening, November 20, 2022, online on Zoom. Zoom service details are listed below.

Donations in Todd’s memory may be made to Jewish Family Services of Northeastern New York, 184 Washington Avenue Extension, Albany, NY 12203.
