In Memory Of
Dolores A. Phelps
1939 - 2022
Dolores was a waitress for many years for different restaurants throughout the Capital District area. She then went on to work as a floating bank teller for Key Bank until her retirement.
Dolores enjoyed spending her time playing cards with the girls. She was fond of watching QVC as well as the New York Yankees. Most of all, Dolores enjoyed the time she spent with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She will truly be missed by all those who had the pleasure of meeting her.
Dolores is survived by her children, Kenny Phelps, Lauren Phelps, and Marc (Enza) Phelps; her grandchildren, Eric Phelps and Julia Phelps; her siblings, William "Bill" (Anne) Teta, Mary Grace (Paul) Caglione, and Dee (Gary) Farrigan; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Dolores is predeceased by her siblings, Rocco Teta, Dorothy A. Chonski, and Sandra Walraed.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dolores's Nurse Practitioners Darlene Hoffman and Judy Delong, who truly went above and beyond in the care and compassion they provided to Dolores and her family. The family would also like to thank all the staff at Hospice for the kindness they showed.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 6pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Dolores's name to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
