Albany - Rose M. McNerney, 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, September 25, 2022. Formerly of Buffalo, New York she was the wife of the late John P. McNerney, Sr. and daughter of Gusippi and Mary (Acquino) Marchello. She was the loving mother of John (Karina) McNerney, Jr. of Pennsylvania, Mary Rose (John) Helion of Rotterdam, and AnnMarie (James) Callander of East Greenbush. Dear grandmother of Susan (Terry) McGrath, Patrick T Kirwan, Noah Helion, and Faith and Nicole McNerney and sweet great-grandmother to Madison Rose and Macie Ann McGrath.
She is also survived by her sister Elinor (Charles) O'Leary of Buffalo and is predeceased by one brother and four sisters.
Calling hours, Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 5pm-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie, NY 12205. A mass of
Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10am at Christ the King Church, 20 Sumter Ave, Albany, NY 12203.
Burial will follow mass at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
