SCHENECTADY- Richard E. Judeikis, age 71, passed away suddenly at his residence on September 16, 2022.

He was born in Albany, the son of the late Leo Judeikis and Lillian Pappalau of Guilderland. He was predeceased by his siblings: George Judeikis and Linda Crandall.

Richard was a US Navy veteran. He retired from the Guilderland Central School District.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, boating and especially campfires. He enjoyed woodworking, puttering around and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Kathleen; his children: Richard (Chantal) Judeikis of Colonie, Kristy (Michael) Juneau of Schenectady and April Shuman of North Carolina; grandchildren: Piper Judeikis, Aubree Juneau and Emilee Juneau; beloved canine companion, Shadow; and siblings: Donald Judeikis, Leon Judeikis and Julie Murley. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and several family members.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours on Tuesday September 27, 2022 from 4 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. All are invited to attend his Memorial Service following at 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 4 Atrium Drive, Suite 100, Albany, NY 12205 or to the American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Lane, Latham, NY 12110.
