She was the daughter of the late Vincent and Regina (Rosteck) Bowers.
Barbara worked as a Dietician retiring as the senior dietician at the Port St. Lucie Rehab and Nursing Center. She and her husband enjoyed their homes in Florida and North Carolina. She loved gardening, traveling, her pets and going out to eat with her friends. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor. She could always be counted on for a smart comment making people laugh and smile.
Barbara was predeceased by her beloved husband of 45 years Thomas G. Culligan, Sr., and her son William R. Culligan.
Barbara is survived by her son, Thomas G. Culligan, Jr. and his wife, Karen; grandson, Tony Culligan; brothers, Vincent Bowers, Jr. (Anita), Richard Bowers (June) and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 5-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. A funeral service will be held on 19, 2022 at 9am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
