Watervliet- Deborah Jean Simons Wescott, 65, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side.

Deborah was born July 30, 1956 to the late Mary Audrey Morrison and Walter Benjamin Simons.

Deborah worked for Market Bistro. They were her second family. Deborah retired in October, to enjoy more time with her family. She loved going to the park with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Deborah is predeceased by her brothers, Clayton Edward Simons and Walter Eugene Simons; her sisters, Joyce Marie Warrington, Jennie Mae LaMountain, and Sandra Ann DeRose; and her beloved son, Donald Kennth Wescott, Jr..

Deborah is survived by her sister, Nancy Carol (Wayne) Smith. Wayne was her favorite brother-in-law. In addition, she is survived by her brothers, Nicholas Joseph (Joanne) Simons and Steven Michael (Karolyn) Simons; and her children, David Wayne Wescott, Sr., Erin Kathleen (Jeff) Graca, and Amy Lynn Spoon. Deborah was the beloved grandmother of 20 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She said she was going out with a Bang! (That she did)
