Colonie- John “Harry” Seaton Sr., 89, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, May 9, 2022. Growing up in Watervliet, Harry was the son of the late John and Grace Elizabeth Seaton. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Barbara Seaton.
Harry worked for the NYS Department of Transportation as a lab technician before his retirement in 1995. He was a fan of the NY Yankees and NASCAR.
In addition to his wife, Harry is survived by his children, Deborah A. Smith (Shawn) of Voorheesville and John H. Seaton Jr. (Heather) of Wilton. He was the loving brother to Carolyn Reagan and was the proud uncle to his two special nieces, Donna and Karen Reagan. He will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave, Menands, NY 12204 in Harry’s name.
