She was born in Albany, NY, the daughter of the late Stanley and Apollonia Golembieski.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Charles, grandson Joseph Michael Lazzari Jr., siblings: Alexander (Anne), Stanley, Joseph (Marjorie), Anne (Sonny), Stella (Andrew), Stacia (Edward), and Monica.
Therese was a lifelong homemaker, always putting her family first. Her grandchildren and later her great grandchildren were her greatest joys. She was a woman of strong faith and we know she is at the Lord’s table with all of her loved ones who have gone before her.
Survivors include her son, Charles Jr.; her daughters: Kathleen (Samuel) Salamone and Susan (Joseph) Lazzari; grandchildren: Michael (Stephanie), Samuel (Meredith), Theresa (James G. Puorto), Matthew, Christopher and Santino; great grandchildren: Grace, Mateo, Persephone, Jack, Alana and Charlotte; sister, Sister Mary Daniel OFS and sister in law Doreen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, whom she loved and cherished.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hour on Saturday May 14, 2022 from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish, 1803 Union Street, Schenectady. A funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be private at Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery next to her husband Charles.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Therese’s memory may be made to the City Mission of Schenectady.
