With heavy hearts we announce that Lucy N. Nye, 74, of Schenectady, passed away on January 12, 2022 at Ellis Hospital.

She was born in Schenectady on July 24, 1947 to the late Nicholas and Mary Ragozzino.

Lucy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. If ever there was a need she was the first to offer whether it was an ear to listen, a voice of reason or a hot meal to fill your belly, she always knew how to comfort those she loved.

Lucy is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, William, her daughter Desiree and her sister Marie.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 19th at 11am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie NY
Interment to follow in the St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Schenectady NY
