Albany- Roseanna Marie Lundgren, 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, November 22, 2021. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John and Euphemia (Derouville) Weldon. Rose is predeceased by her husband, William E. Lundgren Jr. and their son Richard J. Lundgren.
Rose was a lifetime member of the Marine Corps League Auxiliary. She was a deli clerk for many years at Price Chopper before her retirement.
Rose is survived by her two sons; William E. Lundgren III (Edward), Wayne S. Lundgren (Louie) and Hans Kubillun who was like a son to her. She is also survived by her grandchildren Autumn and Whitney and two great grandchildren Noah and Evren. Rose will be missed by her sisters Josephine, Mary, Ruth and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Schenectady.
Respecting Rose’s wishes, there will be no viewing hours. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 10am at St. Madeline Sophie Church, 3500 Carman Rd, Schenectady, NY 12303. Interment will follow at Albany Rural Cemetery.
