SLINGERLANDS - Elisabeth “Betty” B. Elliott, 95, passed peacefully at The Teresian House on November 15, 2021.

Born in Ithaca, NY on April 30, 1926, Betty was the only child of Alonzo P. and Elisabeth (VanInwagen) Bartlett.

She attended Cornell University and Union College to become a registered nurse and retired only a few years ago from The Teresian House. Betty was an avid pilot in the '70s and '80s and logged many hours on multiple cross-country adventures. She was also very active in the Albany area with The Junior League, The Hospitality House, The Albany Institute of History and Art, The Tricentennial Parade and the Albany Mayor’s office under both Mayor Corning and Mayor Whalen.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her former husband Ray, her sons Sandy and Donald. Survivors include her son David (Filicia) and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

At Betty’s request, there will be no services.
