Delanson- Dora E. Humphrey, 89, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Dora was the daughter of the late John and Edith (Chesnut) Fidler. Dora was the devoted wife of 55 years to the late Calvin L. Humphrey.

Upon graduation from Cobleskill Ag & Tech in 1953, Dora worked as a Dietitian in Nyack NY and at a mission work in Houston, KY for a few years.
She was a dedicated wife and mother raising 4 children and also worked at the Schenectady City Mission for about 10 years, in the Administration Office. She enjoyed writing stories with the Scribblers group in Duanesburg and singing in the church choir.

Dora is survived by her sons and daughters. Kirk D.(Kathy) Humphrey, Ward J.(Diane) Humphrey, Lynn A. St. Pierre, Sara E. (Richard) Forbes, along with 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the Duanesburg Reformed Presbyterian Church, 6512 Western Turnpike (Route 20), Duanesburg, N.Y. 12056. Internment will immediately follow after the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Deacons Fund at the Duanesburg Reformed Presbyterian Church PO Box 218, Att. John Fidler, Duanesburg N.Y. 12056, in memory of Dora E. Humphrey.
