He was born in Albany, raised in Rensselaer, and spent his later years in Colonie.
He was a proud Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean War.
Edward retired from CDTA as a Bus Driver. He enjoyed old time cowboy movies, crossword puzzles, and spending time on his tablet.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Maureen; son, Mark; daughters: Kimberley (Michael Cicardi), Katrina (Jason Doerr) and Heather (Alex Cummines). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours on Saturday September 25, 2021 from 9 to 11:15 a.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY. A service will follow at 11:15 a.m. Interment immediately following his services, with full military honors will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Edward’s name may be made to Community Hospice of Saratoga County, mail to: The Community Hospice Foundation, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
