CLIFTON PARK- Charles “Chuck” Joseph Reynolds, 86 of Clifton Park, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a long illness, late Saturday night, September 4, 2021. Born in Albany on June 3, 1935, he was the son of the late Charles and Carrie (Carmello) Reynolds.

Charles graduated from Albany Business College in 1954. He served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1960 and was employed by The NYS Department of Taxation for 41 years.

Charles loved sports, particularly baseball, basketball and football. He also enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends. Charles’ greatest enjoyment was being surrounded by his loving family.

Charles is survived by his dedicated and devoted wife of 56 years, Lois (Aussem) Reynolds; his loving children, Kim (Jeff) Whitson of Atlantic Beach, FL, Kelly Reynolds of Ballston Lake, NY, and Timothy (Wendy) Reynolds of Clifton Park, NY; his four loving grandchildren, Ashley Campbell, Heather (Jarrett) Trudeau, Meghan Reynolds and Jacob Reynolds; beloved great-grandchildren, Isabella Heredia and Reya Trudeau; his sister, Eleanor Conery of Troy, NY; his sister-in-law, Marlene Reynolds; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Charles was predeceased by his brother, James Reynolds of Colonie, NY.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Thursday September 9, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held Friday September 10, 2021 at 10:30 am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 347 Old Loudon Rd, Latham, NY 12110. Burial will follow the mass at Calvary Cemetery, 481 Rte 9W, Glenmont, NY 12077.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Charles's memory to The Community Hospice Foundation, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
