Colonie- Mildred D. Wilcox, 88, passed away on July 16, 2021. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Smith and Mildred Schwab Smith Brown.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Charles Wilcox and her sister Marilyn Melcher.

Mildred is survived by her daughters, Michele Strawbridge (Jim) and Nancy DeFrank (Jerry), her grandchildren Melissa Strawbridge and Michael Messler, her sister Gloria Bourque, her brother Thomas Brown (Jay). She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews.

Mildred retired from working at Blue Cross as a claims examiner. After retirement, she enjoyed relaxing at her camp on Brant Lake and traveling to Florida during the winter. She also found pleasure in reading, playing cards and spending time with her family.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
