Eleanor J. Gauthier, 96, passed away June 10, 2021. She was a woman of many faces, all which wore a smile. Beloved wife, mother, aunt, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
Jean lived a long life. Born in 1924 in Pittsfield MA, to the late Augustus and Grace (Horton) Ultimo. She raised her family in Germantown while being active as a lifeguard and swim instructor, little league, fire auxiliary and foster care. Later, she continued to volunteer for multiple establishments including the VFW and RSVP.
Jean was a great friend to many but especially loyal to her family. She is the glue that will continue to hold til we meet her again. We love you Gram with all our hearts.
She is survived by her nephew Loring Ultimo, grandchildren Jason Fernandez, Jean Raymond (Steven North), William Raymond, Dawn (Randy) Gardella, Lisa Clevenger, Jessica Coons, several great grandchildren, and 2 step children Melissa Cancelliere (Slater) and Brian Slater.
Services will be private.
