Frank R. Lincoln
1932 - 2021

ROTTERDAM- Franklin Roosevelt Lincoln, 88, of Schenectady, New York, passed away peacefully in his sleep early Tuesday morning, May 4, 2021, at the Schenectady Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Mr. Lincoln was born on December 16, 1932 in Charleston, West Virginia. He served in the U.S. Army Signal Corp during the Korean War, and would be very please that his service is being held on Armed Forces Day. During his career he was considered a sales specialist and later in his life, he started his own business, Elite Cleaning.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Leigh Elizabeth Lincoln of Schenectady and his sister, Mary Ann Lincoln Beam of Charleston West Virginia, as well as several nieces, grand-nieces, nephews and grand-nephews and many friends here in New York that loved him as well.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Lincoln, father, William R. Lincoln, mother, Elizabeth Evans Lincoln, to whom he was a devoted son, brother, Edward R. Lincoln and sister Carol Lincoln Clark.

The Lincoln family is very thankful for the friendship, support and care of Frank's best friend of 39 years, Dr. David Stasko and his wife, Mary Ann. Frank and David very much enjoyed all types of sports and attended many events. Frank was always appreciative of his West Virginia roots. He unabashedly supported all sorts of West Virginia attire and memorabilia while living here in New York and the sun rose and set on his beloved West Virginia University Mountaineers.

Cremation and other arrangements are being handled by New Comer Cremations & Funerals. Visitation will be held at Duanesburg Reformed Presbyterian Church of America at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 15, 2021, and a service following at 1:30 PM. A reception will be held after the service.
