COLONIE - Jeannine M. Pelletier, 70, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at her son's home in Oviedo, Florida, with her children by her side.

Jeannine was born on May 16, 1950 in Albany and was the daughter of the late John Joseph and Camille Ruth (Osborne) Pelletier. She was a L.P.N. at the Teresian House for many years before retiring. She also lovingly cared for her grandson, Nick, who had muscular dystrophy, until his passing at the age of 20. She had a love of flowers, plants, and dogs but most especially, loved spending time with her family and friends.

Jeannine is survived by her loving children, Amy Barna and Paul S. (Kim) Barna; her cherished grandchildren, Andrew, Amanda, Ashley, Emily and Tyler; her devoted sisters, Betty Ann (Donald) Poutre, Kathy (Raymond) Lifite, Laurie (Thomas) Herold, Renee Bossoni, and Lisa (Tony) Garcelon; her caring, brothers, David Pelletier, Michael (Marianne) Pelletier, Roger Pelletier, Gregory (Maribeth) Pelletier and Donald (Debbie) Pelletier; her sisters-in-law, Maryann Pelletier and Rose Pelletier and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and grandson, she was predeceased by her brothers, Johnny and Robert Pelletier.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment to follow in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie. Gathering size within our chapels will be based on the most current N.Y.S. occupancy requirements. Masks are required and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
