NISKAYUNA- Richard J. Vincent, age 74, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on February 20, 2021.

Born in Boston, MA, the son of the late Raymond and Margaret Vincent. He was predeceased by his two brothers: Raymond and Jack.

Richard retired from Trans World Entertainment where he worked for over 30 years and achieved the role of Vice President of Store Planning. His love of music, movies, and entertainment drove his success throughout his career and he enjoyed sharing this passion with his loved ones. He was a member of the Rotterdam ELKS club and he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Richard will be remembered for his welcoming nature, his kindness, generosity and selflessness. He was a positive force who always put life into perspective. When times got tough, he would say "It's only a movie.” It was his way of letting you know that everything was going to be OK in the end.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne; his children: Marc (Heidi) and Danielle; his three granddaughters: Jordan, Kaylin and Arya; and his siblings: Sheila Ditoro (Norman), Bud, Sharon Nicklaw (James) and Thomas (Josephine).

A memorial service in Richard’s honor will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to Brain Research Foundation (thebrf.org).
