She was born in Schenectady, the daughter of the late Joseph and Grace Hackett. She was predeceased by her brother Daniel Hackett.
Bonnie was a lifelong resident of Schenectady and a graduate of Linton High School. She worked as an Office Manager for over 25 years at Marvin & Company. In retirement, she worked at Paige Elementary School as a Lunch Monitor, where she was adored by the children and her coworkers.
She enjoyed traveling with family, going to Atlantic City and playing card games with family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening. One of her biggest joys in life was watching her grandchildren grow, to whom she is affectionately known as Grammy.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Frank Brisk; her children: Lisa Brisk Walsh (Ronald), Gregory Brisk, Dean Brisk (Tracie), and Donna Endres (William); grandchildren: Jessica Sheremet, Ronald Walsh III, Dion Brisk, Derick Faragon and Nicholas Smith; beloved sister and best friend, Gail Diffley (Mike); sister in law, Madeline Hackett. Also survived by beloved nieces, nephews and close family in Canada, who she loved dearly and her lifelong friend, Ann Galligan.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 11 to 1 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. A service will follow at 1 p.m. Gathering size, within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels. Interment will be in Sts. Cyril & Method Cemetery, Rotterdam.
