Elaine worked with the New York State Assembly as a Legislative Director for over thirty years.
She enjoyed scrapbooking weekends, spending time with her family at Lake Champlain and going to the casino with her friends.
Elaine is survived by her children, Regina (Mario) Guzzo, Donna (Joe) Mogul, Deborah (Dan) Bouchey and Lance (Sasha) Koreman. She is the adored grandmother of Meghan, Robert, Amanda, Mario, Victoria, Sierra, Joey and Lance Jr.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lance Koreman, her parents, Rhoderic and Mabel Ring, her granddaughter, Alyssa Bouchey, her siblings, Margaret Koerner, John Ring and Rhoderic Ring.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY on Sunday February 21, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
Gathering size, within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements.
Masks are required, and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Meals on Wheels - Albany 28 Colvin Avenue, Suite 2, Albany, NY 12206 in Elaine's memory.
