Cheryl was the director of the Capital District Science Supervisors Association for several years and served as treasurer of the NY State Science Supervisors Association for 3 years. Cheryl continued her involvement with Therapy Dogs International with her golden retrievers, Shiloh and Sasha. She was also a volunteer at the Albany County Airport for their Ambassador Program. Cheryl was passionate for the outdoors and spent most of her summers camping in her RV with her loyal canine companions at Lake Harris in the Adirondacks. She loved to travel with friends and explore many beautiful places around the world.

She is survived by her husband John J. Wrzochalski and two daughters, Jackie Wrzochalski (Schenectady, NY) and Shelley Wrzochalski (Wausau, WI).
